As you will shoot the robots they will leave behind energies, weapons, and Hacking cells that will be used to open the room at the center of the maze. To be able to shoot them you must run or move in the same direction as them because you can not shoot sideways because of the maze walls. But there will be lots of bad robots so make sure you use the spacebar to blast them and destroy them.
